This is called "Quick turn"
There's is a tutorial by Bobmario511 which exlains howto perform it, this is very easy and useful

yeah i had actually already seen that video then sp direct me to it again and the second time watching it i paid attention to the quick turn part and can finally do it.

You can quick turn out of almost any kind of landing,
as long as you have an 0,0 input while landing, you'll loose you momentum (speed 0) and can quick turn out of that

Does anyone know how to avoid desyncing a .m64 file?

I stopped recording too early on a run, so now the V/I's don't appear in the bottom left at the end of the run (i stopped recording when i input the final butt stomp, as opposed to when mario reaches the ground.) How do I time this run?

How do you fix an Audio Delay in an AVI Capture?
I was TAS'ing Yoshi's Island (off topic) and i uploaded the AVI and there was an audio delay. Normally I would do this with Mupen64 but when i uploaded it, it wouldn't have an audio delay.
I use SNESX9 Emulator BTW. THNX!!

You just aren't getting enough speed. Either mash faster, or find a different blj spot.

Okay, this might sound abit noobish, but I can't for the life of me figure out the thing with re-recording.. Kinda get all the other stuff, but the Re-recording isn't understandable for my intellegence. Please detail it to me if you are able to.

anyways, when I use the mupen64 build-in recorder, I load a savestate, and mupen64 doesn't load from the recording, and I go out of the level as regular, and he starts to just run around like some other idiot

Okay, my mupen64 tas input thing went away, so I downloaded the same once again. When I did so, the plugin still didn't show up. Even got a guys working plugin, but it still doesn't show up at my computer. Plex help me out..

Anyone knows what to do when the RSP plugin suddenly disappeared?
Today when I started Mupen64 0.5 Rerecording I couldn't start a single ROM, because it said I had to choose an RSP plugin.
But when I was about to, they were just gone. The list were empty, it's really weird since it worked perfectly yesturday.

Anyone who can help quickly so I can send in my Task 33 in SilentSlayers Competition?

I am about to do that, Anavrin, I hope that works. It's always something wrong with what I do, don't know how I manage to make everything so wrong

I've been trying to HSF lately in BOB and am experiencing problems when trying to fly after maintaining speed. when i try to fly again i get pushed down to the ground as soon as the flying animation starts which is extremely annoying and obviously stops me from doing what im am trying to achieve in my TAS. Does anyone know how to solve this?

Consider Mario as a 50 Kg fat italian and disconsider any height in the path he travels.

He starts a BLJ parallel to the Bits stairs' walls, consider the position of the first stair step as 0. Mario travels to the wall at the top of the stairs running through a distance that equals 10 meters, he had an initial speed of  3 m/s and his blj acceleration is constant and equals 2 m/s.

Once Mario reaches the top of the stairs, he presses c^ and jumpkicks, kicking the wall with a force = 2600N. He travels all the way back to the 70 star door in a straight line because he jumpkicked the BiTS entrance. Mario travelled 13 meters from the wall to the door , and mario conserved all his BLJ speed after the jumpkick.

The question:  How long does Mario take to do all that?

Tips: You should be able to solve quadratic equations and know the following formulas:

F= M . A
S = S0 + V0t +1/2at²

In order to get to the final answer you may want to take this path: 

Find how long mario takes to go up the stairs -> find his speed at the top of the stairs -> find the time he takes to travel back to the 70 star door.

I'll respect anyone who answers this simple question. ( Please don't guess and actually try to answer, it isn't hard )
