I remember Johannes posting a video on his YouTube account back in...I believe late 2008 (maybe early 2009) advertising the forum. I hadn't really been a part of SM64 before that point. I'm glad I was subscribed to him though (as well as other SM64'ers), otherwise I never would've had these last 3+ years of experiences. ![]()
I saw the TAS competition compilations and followed the links in the description of that vids ![]()
I followed links on Silentslayers ntas comp
In February 2011, when I was ill, I was bored so I decided to visit some websites about gaming and found this one where I registered the same month.
One day i was going to sm64.com cause i needed some information about BoB, had to win a bet from my brother, but i accidentally put in SM64.org... then i told Sa_man when we were friends then he studied the TASing stuff.. he started TASing... blah blah blah..
I was looking for non-TAS runs of SM64 and then found this site on google.
I created the non-TAS competition (when i returned in 2010) and made the comp on gamefaqs, but little did I know, the beast of sm64.org was mentioned to me by SP or dukky (?), and I became EFFIN addicted. I'm glad I discovered this site ![]()
I discovered this site just one month ago when sonicpacker posted on tasvideos.org saying a new task competition was about to start.
Like sonicpacker, I found this site by watching Johannes' video on YouTube.
By the way, it seems like the old site isn't up anymore? http://sm64.org/oldforum/
I can't say for sure. But I assume i found a link to this forum in some videos. ![]()
