I don't have a most favorite, but the ones I like most are:
Hazy Maze Cave
Whomp's Fortress
Bowser in the Darkworld.
I think the best is Whomp's Fortress but i also like Hazy Maze Cave:)
Rainbow ride FTW!!!
CCM is pretty bland for me, no awesome strats, kinda boring.
HMC is pretty awesome, that's my second favourite.
Favorite: BoB, WF, BBH, LLL, WDW
OK: CCM, SSL, SL, TTM
Hate: JRB, HMC, DDD, THI, RR
I would kill the creator of TTC.
In fact, WDW is one extreme world ! But I like TTM much more ! 
RR, Outside Castle
I like outside the castle the most.
Wet-Dry world. There's just such a sense of mystery to the whole place, the town section makes it seem like the biggest world in the game, and it seems to be the best place for TASes from what I've seen.

My favorites would be BitDW, LLL, BitFS, RR, and BitS. and maybe WDW and VCutM.

TTC, TTM, and BiTS
Rainbow road is up there too, as well as WF
TTC: So many different ways to play it! so fun to try it on different settings.
TTM: Just tons of obstacles and narrow platforms, as well as the fact that it encourages multiple routes.
BiTS: Lots of moving platforms to play on.
RR: Lots of potential for TASing, and just fun to try to get certain stars with certain limitations.
WF: Mostly because this is where i found my first squence break
